Currently, buying digital media such as video-games and movies does not come with the ability to resell that digital media.
I propose the use of nfts by video game creators. Release a limited number of tokens that can be used to allow access to a game, for example… Nintendo could release a nft that allows access to the download of Mario Cart, and the game is only playable if you hold the nft pass.
Then, they get the sale price of the nft. And a percentage of secondary sales when people sell their pass to the next person. This also allows the owner of the nft to get some, if not all of the original cost back from their initial purchase.
Not to mention potential here for video-game rental through staking of some kind. Allowing the digital asset to be rented for certain amounts determined by the owner.
